BL Publishing, a division of Games Workshop Ltd, is pleased to announce the signing of licences with some of Europe’s top publishers to translate and publish the Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 2nd Edition rulebook and support products.

The successful licensees are; Copernicus Corporation in Poland, Nexus Editrice in Italy, Darwin Project in France, Feder & Schwert in Germany and Edge Entertainment in Spain.

Originally launched in 1986, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay marked a revolution in the role playing arena, combining startlingly original game design with the dark and brooding background of the Warhammer world.

The Warhammer world is a dark, gothic place where the race of mankind is constantly harried by the forces of darkness and death; where grim deeds and desperate struggles are the order of the day. March 2005 sees the launch of the English language version of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, 2nd Edition- a revised and updated version of the Roleplay classic. Streamlined and easy to play, WFRP2 maintains the diet of personal horror, doomed adventure and black humour set by the original.
