Medusa V is a world that burns with the heat of battle and shudders beneath a million marching feet. It is a doomed planet, with a cataclysmic Warp storm descending upon it. All life will soon be scoured from its blighted surface. Only you, through your games of Warhammer 40,000, can determine if victory can be salvaged from this planet's death.

This is the setting for this year's global 40K campaign: The Fall of Medusa V.

GW has released rules for including Dogs of War Giants in Empire, Dark Elves, Vampire Counts, Tomb Kings, Skaven and Dogs of War armies.

Gamespot has posted details of the second of two races in the expansion pack to Dawn of War:

"Relic reveals the second of two new races featured in the second expansion pack to its hit sci-fi RTS: the virtually unstoppable Necrons. See them in action, and read our first impressions of the game's new features."

GW has put a preview of the new 40k expansion online.

"The new 80-page Cities of Death expansion lets you expand Warhammer 40,000 to fit the urban combat environment in a way that gives you equal doses of gritty realism and playability. This book explains in-depth how to play your games in the bitterest of battlegrounds, including how to categorise terrain, how to play on and through structures, and how to organise a city battle."

With the release of the WFRP Bretonnia supplement, this Peasant Generator will help create suitably deformed peasant NPCs for the PCs to interact with as they travel around the kingdom.

Black Industries has announced that 40k Roleplay will be realeased in 2007.

GW has posted an introductory article on the Tau and their new units and technology.
