Medusa V is a world that burns with the heat of battle and shudders beneath a million marching feet. It is a doomed planet, with a cataclysmic Warp storm descending upon it. All life will soon be scoured from its blighted surface. Only you, through your games of Warhammer 40,000, can determine if victory can be salvaged from this planet's death.

Black Industries has announced that 40k Roleplay will be realeased in 2007.
"MARCH 14 2006 (Nottingham, England) 2007 will mark the 20th anniversary of the first publication of Games Workshop’s legendary Warhammer 40,000 game system. It’s no coincidence that March 2007 will also see one of the most eagerly awaited events in gaming history – the release of Warhammer 40,000 Roleplay (40KRP)! Rumours have been circulating in the roleplay community for many years about such a game. Now Black Industries, fresh from the success of the revamped Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, can reveal that it really will be happening, and in a way no one is expecting. Because there won’t be one 40KRP game, but three!"

GW has posted an introductory article on the Tau and their new units and technology.
"The Tau Empire has been growing rapidly over the last few centuries, and is now beginning to infringe on the domains of other major galactic powers, such as the Imperium of Man. The Tau seek to bring the wisdom of the Ethereals to the worlds of Mankind, but the Imperium will not listen. This new Codex takes us to the fringe of the galaxy, as the Tau gear up for their third period of expansion. They are mustering for war." |
